Teaching
My teaching centers on critical thinking, empathy, and practical research skills. I design inclusive classrooms where students question assumptions, engage diverse perspectives, and build the quantitative and qualitative tools to analyze social problems, from research methods and demography to race, migration, and inequality.
Wherever possible I bring hands-on, data-driven work into the classroom: students design surveys, analyze real datasets, and examine contemporary issues such as polarization and migration through computational and sociological lenses. Beyond coursework, I am committed to mentoring students in their own research.
