Teaching

My teaching centers on critical thinking, empathy, and practical research skills. I design inclusive classrooms where students question assumptions, engage diverse perspectives, and build the quantitative and qualitative tools to analyze social problems — from research methods and demography to race, migration, and inequality.

Wherever possible I bring hands-on, data-driven work into the classroom: students design surveys, analyze real datasets, and examine contemporary issues such as polarization and migration through computational and sociological lenses. Beyond coursework, I am committed to mentoring students in their own research.
